Mangudadatu joins forces with Ampatuans this Election

Have you heard of this BS?! Last election, these families were killing each other, now after just an election cycle these people are running in one political party. I mean WTF!? What kind of politics do these people know? Have they forgotten that their families were killing each other an election ago?

Acts and actions like these make politics and politicians in our country a big joke. "Walang delikadeza, basta manalo" (No consicience as long as they get to hold on to their posts in government).

I hope both of these families LOSE this election but knowing how powerful these people are and how idiotic their constituents are, they will RUN and they will WIN and they will just kill each other again.

Thats Philippine politics for you folks. Lord have mercy on our country.

Cybercrime Law - a good law gone bad

Again this problem with the cybercrime law was courtesy of our Senator of the hour Tito Sotto. I mean libel is no longer a crime in many countries but our beloved Senator inserted it maybe because of the wraith he got from plagiarizing parts of his speeches last month. Maybe he wants to sue people who lambasted his plagiarizing ways. Thats what I conclude.
Only one Senator really read the provisions of the new cyber crime law before signing it. Kudos to Senator Guingona. This is how our Senators work. They sign somthing into law without reading it! Shame on all of us for voting these people in office.
But truthfully Im not that scared with this new law. Why? Because we are in the Philippines. I dont see our government enforcing this law, like the way they cant enforce any of our laws. That is why theres chaos in our street because our leaders cant enforce basic traffic laws. What more a "cyber" law at that!
But I do hope our leaders do remove that idiotic insertion.

The Mistress mini review (by a forced husband)

Clarification this early. Im not a John Llyod Cruz fan. My wife is. I was forced to watch the film but since I watched it, might as well give a mini review for all the "kidnapped" husband or boyfriends out there.

It was a ok movie. Bea and JLC did a good job in acting their respective roles. The storyline was unique. Its not the typical filipino love story that we grew accustomed to watching.  Bearable movie. I admittedly cried here and there so dont forget your hanky.

We watched this movie in Robinsons Magnolia and I was surprised to see that 3 out of the 4 movie houses showed this film.

Enrile vs Trillanes

You cant beat a long timer and veteran politician like Sen Enrile. He has played this game twice or thrice over anyones lifetime. He is that good. Good politician. Not good man mind you. Someone like Trillanes cant even dream of putting one over someone like Enrile. Its like a cat vs a lion.

Trillanes walking out is like being a crybaby. Wow. I did not vote for Trillanes. And Im proud of that.

Antutu score for i9277

As you can see. My china phone is just below a galaxy s2 in terms of performance. Not bad for a sub $200 phone.

Haipai Noble i9277

Here is a short review of Haipai Noble i9277. My cousin bought this for me in China. It has a 5.1 screen. It runs on MT6577 cpu, 512 ram, and 4gig rom (2.1+gig available for users).

It came with 2 batts, usb micro cable and plug for charging, and headphone jack. It also had a leather case and a card reader.

Tested it with Antutu and it recorded a decent 5000+. I also played Temple Run and did not experience any hitch during game play. I also installed NBA Jam and it also ran smoothly.
It is also a dual sim phone. SIM1 can connect to 3G while SIM2 is only 2G. Testing and calling is a breeze. First you assign names for your SIMs and then when you call or text, the phone will ask first what SIM to use. Simple as that.

But the phone has also it shortcomings. One, the upper back part of the phone gets hot when you use 3G or Wifi extensively. The 8 mega pixel camera is a trash. Its not 8mp for sure as the picture taken is only 1MB and when you zoom in its very grainy. But what do you expect for a sub $200 phone from china! LOL
Last gripe about this phone is that it has LOW memory for installing apps. It only has 500+MB for Apps and when it came, only 150+ MB are free. A work around is to install from Google Play an app named Apps to SD. It will help you identify apps you can save to your micro SD card. Once installed, reboot your phone so you can transfer apps to your micro SD card.

Here are some pictures of the phone and some screen shots.
Front shot!

The box states its a i9220 phone (MT 6575) but in reality its a i9277 (MT6577) device.

White leather case with Samsung logo at the back!

Charger and Earphones

Close to 6000 not bad!

Thats it. For any questions. Just fire away and Ill try to answer it the best I can.

Valentino Resort and Spa

Had a great time in Valentino Resort and Spa in San Jose Batangas. Its just 1hour and 30 mins away from Metro Manila. Spent 3 days and 2 nights there. It was truly a budget weekend getaway since our room was P2,600 a night with 30% off since they have a promo because its the off season.

Here are some pictures!
View of the hotel rooms

Pic of infinity pool

Here is a pic of the other pool with a small falls
Dont need to bring these things!

Overall we had a great stay at Valentino Resort and Spa. Room is a little small but it fits our need. One gripe is that you need to wear a paper bracelet during the duration of your stay. Its a bit irritating.

Senator Tito Sotto, Plagiarism and the RH Bill

Ok. I am proRHbill. I think Filipinos need more information on sex and health. The RH bill is NOT only about contraception. Its about informed choice. We need children to know what is sex even if they are young so theyll know if they are being abused or not.

Anyways.

Tito Sotto is Anti-RH bill. I respect his opinion. I respect anyone who have the same stance. If they think that they can inform all the Filipinos about proper sex/health in another way then good. But as we can see, its not working. The poor still think they can take care of 10 children with a minimum wage salary. Look at a typical 30 yr old from a squatter colony. 5 children with another one on the way. She is loosing all her teeth from calcium deficiency. She need to be informed that there is a way for her not to have a baby every year of her life.

This is the part I cannot take. A Senator of our country commits plagiarism. And denies it. Then his staff admits to plagiarism, and scolds the content owner of getting angry. What?

I cant believe we voted for someone who I think graduated from Iskul Bukol University. Admit your fault. Your staff. Your fault.

His arguments are from circa 1970s. Contraception right now is much more safe than the 70s. Just like other medicines out there. Heck even technology

When you bring your lost child into a debate or privilege speech, then that child is now open for discussion. "Wag kang sensitive, ikaw nagdala niyan sa conversation e."

He says that we should not just copy other countries laws on contraception because we are in the Philippines yet he plagiarized a foreign blogger to justify his arguements. "San ka pa!!"

Some of my views were taken from Margie Holmes article. (Mahirap na baka pati ako magplagiarize)
