Clearly guilty. Why not declare if you are not hiding anything? Accidental or "hindi sinasadya"? Why so big a discrepancy? Because CJ was hiding his ill gotten wealth.
The defense closing argument (which Im listening to right now) is just talking about technicality in law to justify the non declaration of all the money of the Chief Justice.
Prosecution however gave logical explanation. "Nagpapalusot lang yan" (He is just making excuses). Corona says he doesnt believe in land investments. YET, he sold land to his own daughter. Corona says they want money in dollars, YET he says that his daughter in the States gave them pesos to save. What? When money is found in your account. IN YOUR NAME. Its logical to conclude that it is YOURS. You cant say its co-mingled, then why isnt the account co-owned? If they truly share that account then the daughter should be a signatory to that said account. Its only logical.
Technicalities should not be used in a case like this. It should be black and white. Did the Chief Justice declare a correct SALN? NO. Guilty as charged. Impeach the shit.
