i780 wm 6.1 update

According to cnet asia samsung i780 wm 6.1 update is already available. Unfortunately we need to send our units to a samsung service center to get an update. Damn. Can they just make the update available online? And if its to complicated then i hope they make the upgrade free of charge when we send our unit to them. Im not ready to part with all my data inside my phone so im not ready to take the plunge. Maybe some of you do so just tell me how it goes and maybe ill do it in a month or two.

    ill research on it more... we dont want to see any incompatibility once we upgrade our phones.
