2Days w/o Internet Connecton

Hay salamat meron na ulit kaming internet connection. Damn Rats chewed on the cables going to the smart bro antenna. Had to wait for two days for the technical guys to replace the cable. They were here yesterday but the cable they brought was defective. Atleast Im back! Can continue downloading pinoy movies again (my current download bug) and posting blogs. Thank you smart! Ebay.ph... behind the times

I had a problem with my ebay.ph account, I will not go into the details but I emailed their customer service and their customer representative got back to me asap. I told them about my problem and she (the representative) told me that I had to verify my identity so I can restore my account. Here the problem began. They told me I had to FAX or MAIL in my info. Whatdahell??? Am I reading this right? Ebay.ph a premier onlince auction site dont accept my infos as attachement on email or link? Am I reading this right???? They can conduct a thousand auctions daily, get MY payment via online transaction but they CANT accept email attachments for security reasons? Thats customer service for you! I expect this kind of treatment on other new online sites but on EBAY??? There something terrribly wrong with them. Sorry I just had to vent out... Its like they dont want to help me.

Its Almost Over

Our rest week is almost over... Hay...thank you for all the friends that went out with us. We shall meet you all again in the end of sept. Its time again to buckle down to work. 

By the way google chorme beta is out. Its the new browser from Google. Check it out. So far no problems with it. But initial impression is that firefox browser is a tad bit easier to use. Maybe its because i have been using firefox for over 2 years. So just visit google and download!

MagiKB Lite on samsung i780

Found a great app for our samsung i780. Its a great remapping of the qwerty key pad. For example, if you press e once, then you get e, if you double press it you will get E, and if you press and hold then you will get 1. Then you can do this for all of your buttons. I swear typing will be a breeze and one hand operation will be fully achieved. Here is a screen shot of the application. You can get it (link remove). You also need HookMgr so that you can still lock you keypad.

So install MagiKB Lite and HookMgr.

Using my i780 as a modem (via bluetooth)

Just follow these steps:
1)First pair the PC and your phone of course
2)After pairing, meaning the phone and the pc sees each other, go to your phone and look for the icon "internet sharing".
3)Choose bluetooth pan as you pc connection then press connect. So now your phone is on data connection via gprs, 3g or 3g+
4) Then go to your pc now and go to My bluetooth places search for Network Access Point and enable it. It will turn green with arrows, meaning it has established a connection.
TADA! Now you have internet connection using your i780s

PS. Ofcourse make sure that you have good data plan like globes 15mins for P5. Dont use per kb data charging because this will cost you A LOT!!!

PISO sticking to a magnet Equals Fake?

Bumili ako ng magnetic money clip sa trip ko sa Indonesia and Malaysia. Pagdating ko sa manila e nagulat ako baket nagdikitan yung mga piso ko and mga .25 cents ko sa money clip ko and then natandaan ko sa news before na kapag namamagnet daw ang 5peso and 10peso coin e "FAKE" daw yun. Is this holds true for 1 peso ans .25 cents as well? Nagresearch ako sa internet and mixed ang infos na nakuha ko. Meron nagsabi na fake daw meron nagsabi na hindi naman daw. I asked our bank manager about it and she first told me that is a fake when it sticks to a magnet, and after 5 mins texted me again and told me that according to her research there is still no fake 1peso or .25cents floating around the market according to BSP. Ako naconvince na ako pro si misis e ayaw pa rin maniwala. Fake daw yun. So ill just post pics here and you be the judge....

Tip for browsing the net thru your mobile device

Well because I'm accessing the net thru my phone right now, I just want to share some tips.

First, get a decent browser. If you are not satisfied with your current browser try using operamini 4.1. As long as your phone has java capabilities, you can use this.

If you don't know yet, some sites are beginning to create mobile versions of their sites. Why? One, because the screen is small on our mobile devices. Secondly, our phones ram is small compared to our pc/laptops so it can't handle too many fancy graphics and pictures.
Here are some sites that have mobile versions that I usually visit on my phone:

Globe Telecom has been charging users Php0.15 per kb for surfing via 3G/HSDPA/GPRS using Globe Pre-Paid and Post Paid plans (other than Globe Visibility plans). Smart Communications has been charging Php10 for 30 minutes for its 3G/GPRS service.

Globe Telecom will now allow users to have two surfing options:

Surf the Way You Want To

You can now choose how you are charged when you surf the net on your phone be it by KB (kilobyte) or by TIME (per minute).

• KB Browsing Rate
  This kind of charging is best for info-based browsing like browsing for the latest news or movie schedules, searching online dictionaries and checking sports stats. Since you are charged only P0.15/kb, a search for the definition to a puzzling word would only cost P2.30 while checking that movie schedule would only cost about P1.62.
  
  
• Time Browsing Rate
  This charging scheme is best used for multimedia-based activities like sending and receiving files through email or even viewing pictures and videos. All these are done more affordably when you use Time Charging at P5 for 15minutes.

Getting Your Feet Wet

Thankfully surfing the web on your phone is way easier than catching the perfect wave and hanging ten. Globe Prepaid and Postpaid subscribers are by default on the KB Charging scheme. If you want to try out Globe's new TIME charging scheme, all you need to do is to text TIME to 1111 for free!

Another Psp Update

Needed to Update my custom firmware again. From 3.52 m33, had to update it to 3.52-4 and then to 3.90m33. I had a bit of a scare bcause when I was updating my psp suddenly hung... I was scared shitless. Akala ko sira na yung psp ko. Its a big No no to turn off your psp while you are updating but I had no choice because my screen was stuck with just... "updating please wait..." and I was waiting na for about 30mins. I just braved it and I turned my psp off. Prayed hard and turned it on again... alas. it was just a premature hang. When I started it again it did not hang anymore and it just took around 20mins for the whole process. Another Psp Update

Needed to Update my custom firmware again. From 3.52 m33, had to update it to 3.52-4 and then to 3.90m33. I had a bit of a scare bcause when I was updating my psp suddenly hung... I was scared shitless. Akala ko sira na yung psp ko. Its a big No no to turn off your psp while you are updating but I had no choice because my screen was stuck with just... "updating please wait..." and I was waiting na for about 30mins. I just braved it and I turned my psp off. Prayed hard and turned it on again... alas. it was just a premature hang. When I started it again it did not hang anymore and it just took around 20mins for the whole process. Now I'm in 3.9OE.M33 heaven and I'm playing Patapon and God of War (Great games. worth the update!).

Yahoo NBA Fantasy Basketball

Ito ang salarin. Ito ang may kasalanan bat matagal akong naabsent. Ito kasi ang pinagkaka-abalahan ko ngayon e. Gumawa kasi kami ng liga ng mga pinsan ko. Gawa ka ng team mo getting from players from NBA teams and cocompare mga individual stats nila per game day and itototal, kung sino ang masmataas for a week, e yun ang panalo for that week. So pagalingan nalang yan sa pagpili ng players.

Another thing a nagagawa nito e mas naappreciate ko ang ibang aspects ng basketball... hindi lang ang shooting. Other stats are as vital. Steals, blocks, fg%, ft% , assist, and turnovers. Dahil sa fantasy basketball may mga nakilala akong mga talagang nagcocontribute sa pagkapanalo ng team nila kesa dun sa shoot lang ng shoot e wala na ibang ginagawa. Case in point. Stephon Marbury. Matunog na pangalan pero kung sa fantasy basketball latak lang siya. Kasi wala naman ginagawa kundi magshoot. Mas maganda kunin mo nalang si Monta Ellis.. sino? Kung di ka nba fanatic di ko yan makikilala... pero mas efficient yan kesa kay stephon. Ask any fantasy team owner.

Well last night I spent dowloading OPM songs for my secretary. Papagawa kasi sana siya sa mga gumagawa niyan sa mga mall e. Sabi ko sayang lang pera niya kaya ako nalang gagawa ng audio cd niya for her. Basta bigyan lang niya ako ng mga cd. Well akala ko madali lang kasi madami naman akong songs e. Saw on the news na ang mga producers ng Desparate Housewives are being sued by a group of Filipinos for $500 million for a Racial slur on the show. Im sure everyone knows about this, its all over the news these past few days. Kasama pa si Teri Hatcher sa mga nademanda.

Naisip ko wow laking pagkakamali ang nagawa ng show na yun. Nakahanap ng mga palaban. Hehehe. Pero ito talaga ng bother sa akin e. Baket kaya for a racial slur e madedemanda si Teri Hatcher at mga producers now show pero dito sa atin sa Pilipinas ang WOWOWEE nakapatay ng ang dami daming tao sa show dahil dun sa ULTRA Stampede e kahit na 500 petot or demenda man lang e wala pa hanggang ngayon?

The Commute Adventure

Last Tue e nagbus ako pauwi galing ng province. Pero bongabon-cabanatuan e dinala ko naman ang kotse ko kasi papagawa ko din siya sa service center. Naka110k na kasi tinakbo. Hehehe. Anyway, Cabanatuan-Pasay ang sinakyan ko na bus. Five Star ang tatak. Ok naman malamig ang aircon at nung pagsakay ko hindi naman masyadong puno so sa 2 seat na magkatabi ako lang nakaupo. Tapos dumating yung kungduktor tinanong ako kung saan ako bababa. Naisip ko dahil pasay naman ang sinakyan ko dadaan naman to ng oritigas/greenhills. Sabi ko nung una megamall... e medyo nalito ako e. Galing nga pala ang bus na ito sa edsa from NLEX so impossible naman akong pumuntang megamall kasi other side of EDSA nga naman pala yun. Leche, di kasi ako sanay magcommute at di pa ako magaling tumanda kaagad ng directions. Sabi ko nalang e Connecticut. So siningil niya ako P162 pesos. Not bad. Anyway, mga 30 mins of the ride dami sumasakay so dahan dahan napuno yung bus. Tapos laging may tatabi sa akin pero after 5 mins e aalis. Inisip ko tuloy may B.O. ba ako? Bat sila umaalis? Pero naisip ko blessing din pala ang may B.O. kung meron nga ako kasi hindi ako masisikipan. Tapos may mga sumasakay din na nagbebenta ng mga chibog. Like chicharon, mane, and the like. Ok pala. Hindi ka magugutom sa bus. Inisip ko nga e sa susunod pag ako naghirap ilalako ko sa loob ng bus e LOAD sa cellphone. Kasi ang daming nagtetxt sa biyahe, malay natin baka paubos na load nila. Tsaka ako siguro ang muunang vendor ng load so madami akong magigins suki kung nagkataon. DVD kaya mabenta din? Hehehe. Anyway, bumili din ako ng chibog sa mga vendors na ito. Ayos nakakain pa. So ayun biyahe nga... bulacan area e napuno na talaga yun bus. May manong tumabi sa akin. Matibay ang ilong ng pucha, NAGSTAY! Ayun, sumikip tuloy upuan ko at sumakit ang pwet ko. Ang tigas ng seat e kahit foam siya. Tapos nung EDSA na kami nagbarker na ang kunduktor.... SM!...LRT...CUBAO.. SANTOLAN ayan ako na next na yan e Connecticut na. So by this time lumipat na naman ang katabi ko...di na rin siguro nakatiis. So dun na ako umupo sa seat near the center aisle for the meantime malapit na kasi ako bumaba e. Ayun naman pala ang lamig naman pala ng aircon sa seat katabi ko kaya sila umaalis...(atleast nalaman ko walang akong BO) si manong pala hindi ilong ang matigas. BALAT. So tumayo na ako lumapit sa harap ng bus. Nung malapit na sa CONNECTICUT e tumabi na ako sa konduktor. Sabi niya "MEGAMALL ka di ba?" Sabi ko, "Manong hindi connecticut ako"...(habang mabilis na lumagpas yung bus sa connecticut). Sabi niya "a ganon?" ba sabay senyas sa driver na bus... "dito na daw siya" sabay naman kabig ng driver paright. Shet kaya naman pala swerving ang mga bus sa EDSA e. Ayun bumaba na ako ng konting lagpas sa connecticut. Tapos ang adventure.

Butas ata Bubong natin!

My mom arrived this morning from manila where she stayed for a week to rest. With her is her dog pitbull named Ambo. Our helper named Tom Jones (T-bird siya) tied Ambo on our 2nd floor balcony. AND I just want to mention that the floor of this balcony is made out of wood. Jump to 3 hours after... Tom Jones was walking to our dining room on the ground floor when she suddenly felt something dripping on her for head. She was astonished that she was getting wet and she immediately assumed that "may butas daw yung bubong namin". She called another of our helpers and their conversation sort of went like this:

TomJones: Ano ba to nababasa ako dito o. May butas ata yung bubong e.

Helper#2: Wala naman butas yung bubong natin dyan a. Tsaka ngayon lang nagkatulo yung bubong dyan.

TomJones: Pero sigurado ako may tulo e. Tingnan mo hanggang ngayon meron pa. Tinamaan pa nga ako sa bunbunan niyan e. O tingnan mo yung kamay ko nababasa pa rin.

Helper#2: Oo nga no. San ba nanggagaling yon?

Both of them looked up and TADA!!!!

Ambo was pissing directly above them and his piss was penetrating the balcony's wooden floor.

Moral of the story: Don't assume its only rain water.

Positive thing about it: At least its only urine and Ambo was not suffering from LBM.

Got this thing for 500bucks. It can charge your psp, it has remote, and it has decent speakers. All in all a pretty good buy.

Archos AV420 Live Again.

From my previous blog entry you can see that the hd of my archos died on me. Well, i am proud to say that i have fixed it myself and it is working... Better than before! Wuhoo! I bought a new hd form ebay and waited for about 10 days for it to arrive. When it got here i immediately went to work. I found a website that had a simple instruction on how to replace the hd and dismantled it immediately. Unscrewed all the screws and tried to detach the old hd but there was something holding it in place. Went to the website again and I found out that there were two screws on the flip side of the board, its on the back of the LCD. So I moved the LCD a little bit and unscrewed it. Then installed the new hd. Because of the excitement of it all, I tried to put it all back immediately. Boy, was I wrong! It wasnt that easy! I cant seem to close the case tightly. After 3-4 tries of detaching and attaching everything all over again, I found out that I hadnt screwed the hd on tight enough. So after more or less 2hours (which I thought would take me 30mins max!), I had put everything back! Turned it on, and....wuhooooo! Its working again! I just had to reformat the HD so I can get all the appropriate folders in place. It was better than before because of a techy bit that is too hard to explain here.

A Tale of Two Devices

This is a story about my two devices. One is may blackberry phone and the other is my archos personal video player and recorder. One of them showed extra ordinary durability and strength while the other one just died on me with no apparent reason. Let's start with the former.

Last thursday, I accidentally soaked my blackberry foam in C2 lemon. Well it was not totally submerged, I just accidentally dropped my phone inside a plastic bag that contained a C2 bottle that had a loose cap. So by the time I found the phone it was totally wet and the buttons were not working anymore. I shut it off immediately and started whipping it with my shirt. I placed it infront of the electric fan to dry it. After an hour I tried placing the battery again and it won't turn on! I thought it was the end for my cellphone. I just placed it on my side table and decided to bring it to greenhills the next day. When I woke up next morning, the first thing I did was to try it again... Lo and behold it lives again! Though the button were sticky it was working a-ok! I was really amaze, I thought it was goodbye blackberry.

Then last weekend while I was about to transfer my first five episodes of Entourage season 4 on my archos it suddenly died. I cant access the hard drive of my archos. It takes around 10mins for me to open my archos up (when it was ok it just took a second) and see the files inside. What worse is I cant add any files to my archos anymore. SHYEEEEEEET. I looked around the net and found that I can replace the hard disk of my archos but the problem is I cant find anyone locally. So ill be posting a picture of the hard disk and please help me find one.

So that’s the darn story. The thing that I bought for 3500 was far more durable than the one that I bought for 15k. Well that’s life. Planning to just buy a portable dvd para tipid. Hehe.

WOW Galing ng PINOY

Just finished watching IKON ASEAN an international singing contest. And both Philippine representatives won it. Vina Morales and the band Kjwan. And this morning 5 out of the 6 boxers won their fights in the boxing world cup. Galing. Its good to be a Filipino today. hehehe.

My Metal Case

My metal case just arrived last week. It took 10 days for it to arrive. What can i say... a perfect fit! My only problem is that when i recieve a call...there is a loud buzz because of the case. Now if i recieve a call i need to slide to phone up halfway to eliminate the buzzing sound.
Well anyway im still satisfied with my purchase. I just hope that i can do something about that buzzing sound. Its pretty irritating and its a pain to slide to phone up when i recieve a phone call.

Pity for Philipine Basketball

Talaga naman nangarap pa tayo e no. Jordan lang talo tayo. And to think we have our own proffesional leauge. Come to think of it. Thats our downfall. Feeling natin magagaling tayo kasi may PBA. Pero isa import lang per team e ang laki na ng difference sa leauge! Tapos ang galing pa ng coach na kinuha natin. Nakakalungkot. Pero lets just face it na talagang pang SEA games lang ang galing natin. Hehehe. Our Philippine Team suck pero i like their heart. Its not the fault of the players. The fault lie in that we are dreaming a dreamers dream. Feeling pa talaga natin mag OLYMPICS. Ang kailangan natin reality check. Hehehe.

The Shield Season 6

Sprained my right ankle yesterday, i dont know why because I just sat the whole afternoon. Woke up today and i cant stand or walk without it hurting. Dammit. So with nothing else to do i grabbed my stash of cds where i burned my copies of The Shiled Season 1 and 2and started watching it again. I really like this series. Bad cop doing some good on the side. Parang parak sa Pilipinas! Hehe. I have watched each and every episode of this from Season 1 to 5. I have been waiting for season 6 for the longest time and guess what?..... what?! Its out! Its in its 10th episode! Better start downloading! By the way this series stars The Thing from Fantastic Four.

Bought this item on ebay for my hp6965

Bought this metallic casing from ebay.com recently for $10 plus $5 dollars for shipping. Paid it immediately via paypal and the email from the seller told me that it will take 10-14days for my shipment to arrive. Hope it gets here in one piece! Had to resort to buying off on ebay because i have been having trouble finding accessories for my beloved hp6965. I saw one in a greenhills shop but it costs almost 2000php so i decided that shopping off ebay was more tipid. Will update again with actual pictures when my casing arrives.

My mini-psp game reviews

Crush

You really need to use the brain on this one. You need to play the tutorials first or else you wont get nowhere. Its one of a kind game and i dont think there is a game like this out in the market. Very unique and im sure you'll waste tons of hours trying to figure out the puzzle/stages here. Its entitled crush because on a press of the R button the 3D world of the game becomes 2D. You really need to do this because on the 3D world there are concrete obstacles that vanishes when you "crush". I have played this game for about 7-8 hours already and im only on the second batch of puzzles! This game is worth hours of hours of gameplay if you dont get frustrated during the first hour of play.

Pimp my ride

Sorry for those who enjoyed this game but this is the worst ever game i have played on the psp. I did not reach the part of the game where you tend to pimp a ride because the controls on this game is ridiculous! Its a driving game at the start of the game and i cant control the damn car!!! I crash the car on fences, buildings and walls but amazingly my car is still on its prestine condition. No dents or scratch! Amazing! Then there is a part in the game that you need to impress the crowd (i dont know why you nedd to do this), but instead of driving a pimped out car you step out of the game and you need to let your character dance!!! What the hell is that!? A total waste of time! I just dont get it! A total waste of a good Title.

Well kung nakalaro na kayo nito sa pc e madali lang mag adapt sa game na ito. Masaya siya pangpalipas ng oras. Mahirap lang konti ang controls niya kasi and diner dash was made w/ mouse pointer na controls. Masmukang diner dash2 ito sa pc kesa sa diner dash. Napakasimple lang ng point ng game na ito. Waiter ka, so kelangan mo: iseat mga customer, bigyan sila ng menu, kunin, order nila, bigay sa cook yung order, bigay sa customer ang pagkain, kunin ang bill, linisin ang table, ang lagay sa lababo ang mga ginamit na plato. Napakasimple di ba? HINIDI! Kasi madaming mga customers, iba iba, may pamilya: dapat bigyan ng high chair kundi iyak ng iyak yung sangglo at maasar ang mga katabi ng pamilyang ito. Meron din bookworm: napakabagal kumilos!, Meron businesswoman: lahat naman mabilis para sa babae nato. Etc. Tapos minsan nagtatapon pa yung mga pamilya, so kelangan mo i-mop. Tapos minsan (pagmataas na level mo) may manghihingi na ng dessert and bread! Nakakapraning! Madali lang ang game pag normal pass lang ang gusto mo. Challenge pag gusto mo maging expert every level.

Wala kang makikitang review para sa game na ito. Naghanap ako at wala akong makita. Ito lang masasabi ko: Napanood niyo ba yung pinakabagong James Bond? Di ba may chase scene yung sa umpisa ng palabas? May parang unggoy na tao na talon ng talon at nagcicircus habang tinatakasan si James Bond di ba? Kung gusto mo magfeeling na kaya mong gawin yan e ito ang game para sayo! Ganun ang gagawin mo sa game nato. Para itong Tony Hawk pero walang skateboard! Talon, talon, takbo, talon, kapit, akyat, sabit, etc. Yan ang gagawin mo sa game na ito. Pinakamaganda e talagang magtutorial ka muna: Once na mamaster mo na ang mga basic moves e talagang mageenjoy ka na sa game na ito. Hindi ito masyadong kilalang laro pero para sa akin sulit ang game na ito. Masmasarap siguro itong game na ito kung may kakarera ako thru had-oc!

Update on my upgrade of my PSP to 3.40OE

I used a quick installer i found on my suki site pinoypsp and here is the timetable of my recent firmware update of my PSP:

-download time of installer: 15-17 mins
-actual upgrade: 2-3mins

Thats it! amazing isnt it. Now i can play new games that were released june 2007 onwards.

The Great Battles of Rome game that made me update my firmware was unfortunately a let down. Its not a good game. A review of it will be read here in the future.

Smart bro working A-OK

Update on my previous post about Smartbro: The thing amazingly works perfectly! Ive had it for 3 days and no problem encountered so far. Plus, the guys who installed it were very courteous and professional. Ive downloaded 3 psp games so far had it on for almost three whole days. Kudos to Smartbro. I hope i dont get jinx for this.

Upgrading my PSP firmware to 3.40 OE-A

Hay buhay. Need to upgrade my custom firmware again. I downloaded an new game just an hour ago and it doesnt run with my current firmware anymore. My current firmware is 3.03OE-B, meaning i can run homebrew games and play games that need 3.03 firmware or lower. TAMA SONY! Tama na ang upgrade ng firmware! Leave us alone! Hehehe. Hope it works. Sige ooperahan ko muna ang psp ko. Update you guys later when I am done. Wish me luck!

Another 10 hours of black out

I again suffered 10 hours of blackout here in the province. I just dont get it! Ang init. Its hard to close our store because of the absence of light. Its hard to count our daily sales. I think we need a generator here if we want to have an electronic cash register and to computerize our inventory system. Anyone want to donate a generator? Hehehe. Thats it for now.

I have been playing this online game for about 2 months now and I just want to say that it R-O-C-K-S! Its a free online game ala counter strike! Its from abs-cbn interactive. Though the gameplay is not as smooth as counter-strike, as long as its free and with a hundred online buddies to play with, im not gonna complain. It has 3 kinds of combat systems. One is ala Counter-Strike, guns only. Second is mini-war map where you can ride motorcycles and hummers and steal flags from the other team. The third one is just like the 2nd map but with a way way bigger map, with tanks and more players! Anyway, I hope you CS fans out there try playing this online game and maybe we shall see each other in battle! My username there is acpone. Hope to see you guys there!

Im getting smart bro wireless internet connection tomorrow. Its Smart Bro or Dialup connection so its a no brainer! I have been using dailup connection since i got here in the province... what 10 months more or less. And i cant take it any longer!!! Its too slow! I have DSL in manila so i really notice the difference! So I just hope that what i read on some chat rooms that Smart bro should be called Smart broken is not true. I have talked to atleast 3 people who has Smartbro and all of them are satisfied with the service. Cant wait to have a fast internet connection here in the province because Im always here. Ill update you guys on my smartbro in the coming days!

Just a none-sense update

Hindi ba kayo naasar pag may nakita kayong nagpapagas na motor or owner type jeepney tapos habang nagpapakarga yung may-ari ng motor or jeepney e inaalog nila yung sasakyan nila? Pang-asar e... parang tinataktak yung gasolina. di ba nila alam na liquid yun e kahit anong alog ang gawin nila dun sa sasakyan e di naman masisiksik yun? Katalinuhan ng mga ibang tao talaga. Pang _ASAR. Yun lang muna.

im trying this online game out. i havent tried it yet because there is a problem in activating my account. I cant send an email to their support team and i dont know why... I hope i didnt waste my time downloading this game. Ill report here any updates i get.

Psp game reviews part 4

MLB 07: The Show

I dont play baseball. I dont even watch regular season games. I only watch a couple of games of the championship each year. But I am really enjoying playing this game. It has full season mode and quick game mode. What I am really enjoy playing is the career mode where you create your own player and you hone up his skill until he reaches the best league in the world: MLB! I have been playing this game for a week now non-stop but my player is until now just a low rank in the batting list. I was just inked to a 4 year contract as a philly. I was in the AAA for about 3-4 days. So you see, it is really like you are the one who controls your players destiny. Controls are great. Sound and background noise is good. Even the commentators are a fun the hear. Though what they say tend to just repeat after you have played the game as much as i have. Learning curve is pretty stiff. An hour or two is not enough the really enjoy the potential of this game. Highly recommended to those who are really sports minded.

NFL Street2 unleashed

Though this game is a bit old. I decided to still play it because i still dont have a football game in my collection. And i just want to declare that i am NOT disappointed. Gameplay is really fun. Learning curve is just 30-60mins then the fun begins. This is not a serious football game. It is full of fantastic moves and crispy passes and diving touchdowns! Though you still have to call offensive and defensive plays. Its really easy to learn. Game is played normally with 6 players to a team. The usual 4 plays to move 10 yards. The fun here is that you can do fancy moves like walk a wall or throw a no look behind the back pass! I recommend that you create a player and a team from scratch. Lord it over the street and after you have concquered the streets. Now, you can invade the NFL teams! Very very nice music tracks. Astig clothes and bling bling all around. You can play this game over and over and over again. For the sports minded dude!

Psp game reviews part 3

The Warriors

The first thing you will notice is the size if this game. Its about 1.7gig in cso format. (Had to buy another 2gig because of this game.) But the wait is definitely worth it! Got to play this game back when i still had a ps2 and this is one of the best games i have played with that console. I can also say that by far this is the best game i had played in a psp too! Its GTA style combined with defjam...kinda. You roam around with your gang members called The Warriors. This is based on a movie way back in the 1970s and rumor has it that they are planning to remake this movie because of the success of this game on the PS2. You steal, abuse, punch, destroy, kick, break your way into stores, cars, streets, bystanders and rival gang thugs! In the game there are other minigames you can play. There is a game mode wherein you can create your own gang, name it, choose your gang members within the warrior game and pit it against other gangs out there! I cant stop praising this game. You can get around 20-30 hours on this game because there is so many things to do!

M.A.C.H.(modifies air combat heroes)

Well, this is a racing game that uses airplanes. Nice graphics and controls. I really like the dogfights wherein you fly around shooting other jetfighters and how you get the highest frag after the round. The game is very easy to learn. All other levels are pretty easy other than the last level. Nice racing a jetplane for a change instead of cars. You will probably enjoy this for 5-6 hours then the game tends to get boring

Super great movie! Its a must see. I know all the diehard movie fans have watched the movie already. All i can say that after watching the movie its all oooooohhhhhs and ahhhhhhhs from the movie goers!

300 part 1

Im planning to watch 300 later with my friends. Ill make a review after that. Now is a review of the 300 game on the psp.

Well i just hope that the movie is NOT like the game. The game is not good at all. Yes you kill persians left and right, have few nifty moves and the grapichs on the story telling part is cool, but the gameplay is not to be desired. Some screen angles are bad that you cant even see your character. On the positive side, its a bit entertaining slaughtering about a dozen persians at a time. You need to duck and cover yourself with your shield from time to time because a rain of arrows comes down killing anyone who is not on guard. But there are more negative than positive in playing this game. Its frustrating because your player doesnt do what you intend it to do. Your player just keeps on hacking and hacking. Y0u tend to use two equipments here, one is the sword and one is the spear. The sword is for most of the combat while the spear is for killing opponents with shields. YET, you dont really know when will the spear penetrate the enemies shield. So you end up getting hit while you hack and slash while wishing that their damn shield get destroyed. And the blocking mechanism in this game suck! You can still block opponents attacking from the back, while sometimes you cant defend attacks coming from the front! Arrgh! IN short this game is a watered down version of dynasty warriors.

Walang magawa again!

Hay wala na namang magawa... as usual andito na naman ako sa province. Watching the news and walang laman ang news kung di chismis. Last week panay Kris Aguino ngayon naman panay Vilma Santos. Will this never end? Baket pati news natin e tabloid style? Ganon lang ba ang level ng intellect natin? Guess the answer is Yes. Lets face it, as long as nasisikmura ng mg pinoy na iboto si Goma si Cesar and but nalang at nagbackout si Pacman e hanggang dito lang ang maabot natin. Speaking of voting sino kaya ang masarap iboto? Yun talagang may gagawin and hindi lang magpapagwapo at magpapalamig sa senado? Siguro right of the top of my head ill just vote for 5 or 6 sentors... Dami ko kasi binoto last last election e wala namang ginawa. One is Oreta. Ano ba talaga nagawa nun except magsayaw sa senado. Putek sayang ang boto ko. Angara akala ko pa naman matalino at magaling. Siguro sumobra sa utak, ayun bumalimbing... tsk tsk what a waste. Siguro pwede na si Lacson and si Joker as reelectionists pero si Loren ba e dapat ibalik? Is she worth voting for? Grabe sa dami ng tumatakbo ito lang mga naiisip kong iboto. Ay Noynoy Aquino pala is a shoo in for his father. Pero kahti siguro iboto ko ang lahat ng tingin ko na nararapat iboto sa senado e tinging ko talaga e wala din kwenta to kasi reading from opinions from The Philippine Star e 70-80%percent of congress and local leaders e yayariin nila Ate Gloria. So kung nga makuna nila ang 70% of the Congress siguradong CHACHA na to. Yari ang Pilipinas neto. Pakshet. Di na matatanggal ang ating mga pulutiko ngayon pagnagkataon. Sana wag pumayag ang mga Pilipino...

NBA-07
The best nba simulation game i have ever played on the psp. Though the moves are not as flashy as what we see on its rival game NBA live 2007, the simulation of a basketball game is way way better. For one shooting the ball is not as easy as you may think. You have to release the shoot button at just the right time for the your shot to go in. It is indicated by the color of the ball upon release. Green is good, yet still blockable. Yellow has a 75-50% chance of going in. Orange has 50-20% chance. While red means 20-0% chance. So it will take a lot of practice before you start beating cpu opponets. There are other mini games that this title offer. One is the conquest mode where you play street ball with other nba cities until you cover all the cities and become the only team on the land! Other games are carnival games that you see played with a ball. So far i have played two seasons of basketball and i cant still get enough of this game!

Chili Con Carnage
A shoot and blow up everything kind of game. You play as a son who is out for revenge on the killers of your father. That's as thick as the story line gets. You just shoot shoot, kill kill, and blow up everything up! You can even shoot innocent chickens while you are at it! What makes this game addictive and fun is that you can kill all the evil dudes while your in bullet time mode "ala" matrix. You also pick up cool power ups like the tornado move (where you turn like a tornado and kill everyone 360 degrees of you). Im just into a quarter of this game but im enjoying every minute of it. Im sure you will too!

You play as a ninja. It has a story around it but who cares?! You unlock other playable characters as the game progresses but i only use my original male character because the other characters i have unlocked so far are all dumb-asses. The objective of the game is to kill, rob, trasport, assasinate, etc., just as a real ninja would do. I really like the finishing moves where your opponent doesnt see you and you perform a killer stealth move! Awesome! Show me more blood! Waahahaha. Camera angles are not that good and need getting used to.
